If it was brought to our attention it would have been explained clearly at that time. But also keep in mind the lift that you mentioned in your review was not stated to my manager. You also state there was no personnel in the office, well you did speak to my manager and stated to him you need the vehicle and can the process of the lift check be sped up due to your situation. On you came to the shop opened the office door to the shop area and stated in your review there was an open lift in the front, in fact the lift that you mentioned would not accommodate your vehicle, that is the reason for not using that lift. We explained to you that it may not be the clutch hydraulic system and further time is needed to lift check and as you requested, that we bleed the clutch hydraulic system again. We did experience a problem with regards to shifting the transmission from 2nd to 3rd gear, not with engagement from a stop. On 03/05/19 we did start the process of our check by initial road test of the vehicle. At that point my manager discussed with you that due to being busy and with regards to weather there may be a delay. You then reiterated to my manager the problems you were experiencing. You contacted us and rescheduled the appointment for Tuesday due to weather related issues. That leads us to Monday, appointment set. We then explained the problem you’re experiencing may not be a problem with the clutch master and slave cylinder and it maybe something else at that point and you agreed. You set up an appointment to drop off the vehicle for us to check on Monday and were told that we are very busy and may not be able to check the vehicle that day. You explained that after many times of bleeding the clutch assembly you were ex periencing a problem with the shifting of the vehicle while driving. You then stated that your friend who is a backyard mechanic removed the transmission and replaced the clutch assembly. You stated you just got the vehicle back on the road after 2 years of sitting. On Thursday January 3rd 2019 you called my shop in reference to your 1984 Mazda RX7 and spoke with my manager. Here are some of the facts in which the readers should know and understand. I picked the truck up Thursday at dusk when there was already 4 inches of snow on it and I had the most awesome 4-wheel drive experience driving 15 miles home! Lol Thanks guys, every single element of the transmission is working perfect, and the 2-year warranty makes me sleep like a baby at night! Bob from Ronkonkoma … – show They promised that I would have the truck back before a major snow storm on Thursday. I also asked for other items to be replaced late in the game, and they gladly did the other work. Most of the time was spent waiting for factory parts internal to the transmission to arrive. I was just going to junk it eventually, but then I started thinking what would I get for $2500? I called them, and they sent a tow truck the same day. It had no park, reverse, or 2n d gear for about 6 months. My 2004 Grand Cherokee with 186,000 miles finally gave out pulling into my parking space at work. I called at least 14 times for a status, and Tommy answered the phone on the first ring, EVERY SINGLE TIME!! You don't see that kind of dedication anywhere, anymore. Yes it was a pain having my wife drive me to work for 2 weeks, but it was well worth the wait.
